PDF outline navigation · Chrome

Use a PDF table of contents in Chrome.

A long PDF is easier to read when its chapter structure stays within reach. Easy Reader can show the document’s original outline in a resizable panel, so you can expand headings, move between sections, and keep the page in view.

The document’s own map

Move by ideas, not by scroll distance.

Reports, books, manuals, and research papers often already contain a useful navigation structure. Instead of recreating it in a separate note, Easy Reader preserves that original PDF outline when it is available and keeps it beside the page.

Navigation with context

Keep the outline close, then leave your own trail.

The outline helps you travel through the author’s structure. Named bookmarks help you remember your own landmarks. Together, they make it easier to work through a long document without losing its larger argument.

PDF contents FAQ

When a PDF has structure, keep it usable.

Why is the Contents panel empty for one PDF?

Some PDFs do not include an embedded outline or table of contents. In that case, Easy Reader shows that the document has no table of contents to navigate.

Does the outline change the original PDF?

No. The panel reads the navigation structure already embedded in the document. It does not alter the PDF file.

Can I resize the contents panel?

Yes. Drag the panel edge to make the outline narrower or wider, then hide it when you want a full-width reading view.

Can I still save a position if there is no outline?

Yes. Named bookmarks work independently of the original outline, so you can save useful places in any PDF.

Let the document show you its shape.

Install Easy Reader to keep the original PDF outline, your bookmarks, and your reading progress in one focused Chrome workflow.
