A bookmark becomes much more useful when its name captures the job ahead: “compare later,” “key chart,” “discussion point,” or “chapter summary.” Easy Reader keeps those labels in the bookmarks panel and uses the saved reading position to make the return immediate.

  2. 02Choose Add bookmarkUse the bookmark control in Easy Reader’s reader toolbar to save the current place.
  3. 03Give it a useful nameUse a short label that explains why the passage matters. If you leave it blank, Easy Reader uses the current date and time.
  4. 04Open the bookmarks panelYour saved positions remain organized in a sidebar that you can show when you need a quick map of your return points.
  5. 05Jump back to the saved placeSelect the bookmark to return to the saved page and precise position within the document.

Does a bookmark save only the page number?

No. A named bookmark returns to the saved page and precise reading position, which is more useful for long or densely formatted documents.

Can I choose my own bookmark names?

Yes. Give the bookmark a name when you create it. If you prefer not to name it, Easy Reader supplies a date-and-time label.

Can I delete a bookmark?

Yes. Open the bookmarks panel, expand the bookmark entry, and remove the one you no longer need.

Do bookmarks work if a PDF has no table of contents?

Yes. Bookmarks are your own saved places and work independently of whether the PDF includes an embedded outline.
