Inside Easy Reader

A reading desk, not another dashboard.

Every surface is tuned around a PDF: a calm library before reading, precise tools while reading, and just enough context when you return.

Your offline shelf

Start with your own library.

Drop in a PDF and find it again by recent reading activity. The file stays available offline in this browser.

Good to know

Before you open your first PDF.

Does Easy Reader upload my PDF?

No. Local PDFs and reading data stay in your browser. For an online PDF, Chrome requests the file directly from the site you selected after you grant access to that site.

Can I read without an internet connection?

Yes. PDFs added to your local library remain available offline, together with their highlights, bookmarks, and saved reading position.

Which PDFs can I open?

Use the file picker or drag and drop a local PDF. You can also open a public HTTPS PDF from the current tab or from a PDF link's context menu after granting site-specific permission.

Is Easy Reader available now?

Yes. Easy Reader is now available on the Chrome Web Store and can be installed directly in Chrome.
